Are you interested in health/fitness/nutrition issues?  Do you want great hands-on experience in one or more of these fields?  Do you want to make a difference in your community by volunteering some of your free time to help others improve their health?  If you answer yes to any of the above questions, then join our team!

We currently offer Fitness and Nutrition Leadership programs aimed at developing your leadership skills.  We offer a variety of experiences that will allow you to become a leader in your community.  Choose to tailor your experience with us as you wish, and design your own schedule. You may:

  • Facilitate youth physical education classes at schools
  • Be a personal trainer
  • Lead exercise classes for all ages
  • Lead senior fitness activities
  • Conduct basic health/fitness screenings
  • Facilitate nutrition lectures/activities for kids and adults
  • Design your own seminars and public lectures on health related issues of your choice.
  • Design your own independent project

All volunteers will be a part of our staff, and will help create and facilitate health/fitness/nutrition programs throughout the Central Valley.  We also offer academic credit to college students for their participation.

This is not only a great opportunity to make a difference in people's lives, but an excellent resume and experience builder.  Great letters of recommendation from our organization will be written for all participants as requested (i.e. for graduate school, jobs, etc.).

All volunteers will be trained.  Everyone welcome to apply!
